Cork Airport Information:

Cork Airport is located just outside Cork City in the south of the Republic of Ireland. In August 2006, a brand new terminal was opened in Cork Airport, with the capacity to cater for three million passengers.

The new terminal meant a complete face-lift for the whole airport. Today the airport offers excellent facilities including a hotel, cafés, shops and restaurants. If you are travelling to the Cork region, Cork Airport car rental is by far the best way to get around.

Getting to and from Cork Airport

Cork airport is situated 8km from Cork City Centre on the south end of the N27, when driving from the North, West or East of Cork. If you're driving from Kinsale, it is located just off the R600.

If you have decided to pick-up in the city centre, you will find Taxis are ready and waiting outside the airport's main terminal. There are also regular bus services running from the airport on a regular basis that terminate at the bus station in Parnell Place.

Cork Airport Car Parking

A short-term car park is located close to the Terminal Building in the Multi-Storey car park.

To reach the car park, look out for signposts for short-term parking. All car park spaces are numbered and colour-coded so that you can easily remember where you've parked your car. You will find baggage trolleys on each floor of the car park.

Long-term parking spaces are located in two specially assigned parking lots. To reach the long-term parking lots, follow the digital signposts for the Car Park and then the internal car park signs overhead, inside the building. Parking areas are marked A, B, C and D and numbered, so that you can take note.
